Robert Downey Jr. agrees to Avengers 2 & 3

Guess who’s back, back again? Downey’s back, as Ironman…After heavy negotiations (and a heavy pile of cash), Robert Downey Jr. has officially signed on to portray ‘Tony Stark’ at least twice more. Speculation and rumors are already flying concerning an Ironman 4 and possibly 5 but that is quite a ways off. Or is it? It would seem no coincidence that Disney and Marvel would drop this announcement mere weeks from San Diego Comic-Con 2013. Given RDJ’s love of dropping media ‘bombs’ at SDCC, this could set the stage for Disney and Marvel to further expand their Marvel Universe plans beyond 2015’s “Avengers 2.” You CAN be sure of one thing, Just Cool Stuff will be at Comic-Con to bring you every update, announcement, interview, and picture that we can possibly manage!
